The UC Irvine and UCLA Alumni Associations in the UK are proud to present a US Black History Month screening of Citizen Ashe, followed by a panel discussion.
Join us for an evening celebrating the life and global legacy of Arthur Ashe — athlete, civil rights activist, humanitarian, and UCLA alumnus (Class of 1966).
Citizen Ashe tells the story of the first and only Black man to win Wimbledon, the US Open, and the Australian Open singles titles, and his lifelong commitment to justice, equality, and education.
